We decided to book our trip with Srbo, and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. We caught Barracuda and Snapper at will… Srbo spotted a school of Tarpon chasing bait fish and did what we set out to do. My Son, his grandfather, and myself all caught our first Tarpon, WHAT A DAY! Captain Chandler was very knowledgeable of the back water and very prepared for our trip. He reached out to us prior to see what we wanted to do and then made it happen. Excellent communication throughout, very good instruction for my daughter who’s fished a little before but not from a boat and not often. We had an amazing morning of fishing with Captain Chandler! My son said it was one of the best times he’s EVER had. We caught some nice fish, decent barracuda, and had a huge 5’ barracuda on the line that may have become a shark’s breakfast. All in a few short hours. On the water

Captain Chandler was awesome. I was afraid we wouldn’t be able to catch fish in the late afternoon in the hot waters of the Key West flats, but we caught almost 2 dozen snapper, throwing most of them back (because we only wanted enough for two meals), and it was really fun catching barracuda. Chandler, you seem to know exactly where to go. Every time we move we caught fish.

Capt. Srb is hands down one of the coolest guys out there. I took my mom and girlfriend out and not only did we have an amazing time, the energy and vibes that the Capt. has is incredible. He was very patient with me as I had never spearfished in my life and took me to such cool spots in the mangroves. His knowledge of the water is unmatched. Legit a life changing experience.

Catch highlights

I took my two sons, aged 16 and 11, and even though the boat was small, it brought us right up close to the mangroves and keys — an incredible experience. While we reeled in barracudas and some decent-sized mangrove snappers, the skipper was trolling dead bait in hopes of attracting a shark. It didn’t take long — suddenly, the reel screamed to life as a large blacktip took the bait. An exciting and action-packed trip, perfect for an early evening.

My wife and I had an awesome time on the 3 hour trip with Srbo. Unlike some of the other charter boat crews, he was respectful and kept a clean boat. I felt completely comfortable taking my wife out on the water with him. Srbo was both energetic and encouraging with an obvious love for the ocean. He got us on fish (barracuda) almost immediately and after catching some small ones, we were able to use them as bait for sharks.

I’ve never done a charter trip before, not knowing what to expect we did the three hour trip. Water was super choppy that day, and the fish weren’t cooperating, but we still had a great time being out on the water with Capt Chandler. Despite conditions, I still caught a small barracooda and decent size mangrove snapper. Both are a first for me, so that’s a win. Maybe not the best catch of my lifetime, but a bad day fishing is still better than any good day at work!!!
